Kotemon is Bearmon's best friend. He is a Reptile type of the Data Attribute. His attacks are Hothead and Thunder Kote.
In the Frontier movie, their brothers are at war - Beast Vs Human Digimon. Bearmon and Kotemon however, remain best friends throughout the movie and beg their brothers to stop the fighting. Kotemon later sacrifices himself to unleash the ancient Digimon warriors to stop the Digimon causing the problems. We do, however, see him change back to a Digi-Egg, and then, at the end, see him with Bearmon happily again.
