Shrine
Bearmon is a child/rookie monster from the world of Digital Monsters (Digimon for short). He was first seen in the Digimon World series, in the 3rd installment (Known as Digimon World 3 everywhere except Europe, who changed the named to 2003 as the second game was never released there). Although his real name is Bearmon, this was changed to Kumamon (With Kumam meaning Bear anyway) in the English release. This is NOT the same Digimon as Chakmon (Who was also named Kumamon when released in English).
Bearmon is a Beast Type Digimon with a Vaccine attribute. He digivolves from Tsunomon. His attacks are Bear Fist and Bear Roll.
He can digivolve into a variety of Digimon as well: DarkRizamon, Fangmon, Gargomon, Gladimon, Golemon, Greymon, Grizzmon, Hyougamon, Leomon, Mikemon, Ponchomon, Sagittarimon and Starmon. Grizzmon is the most well known Bearmon evolution.
Bearmon has also made an appearance in the Digimon Frontier movie. He is one of the main characters, who happens to be best friends with the younger brother on the 'human' Digimon side, Kotemon.
